Like past collabs, this sneaker from the upcoming holiday collection is rumored to have a rich story behind the design that highlights the black community.
Just like on the Air Jordan 12 edition, the burgundy accents are littered throughout, used on the iconic midsole teeth and Jumpman respectively. Accompanying the soft palette are the aged details on the side netting and outsole, which still remain a key part of footwear design language in 2023. Inside, the quilted treatment has been introduced on to the Air Jordan 5, giving you the same premium on-foot feel.
A Ma Maniére and Jordan branding is make a subtle appearance throughout the uppers.
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the Jordan 5, 7.5 in terms of comfort. The Jordan 5 silhouette may be heavy, but they’re extremely soft inside, and the tongue is thick and cushiony. For this reason, I would recommend them for those long days when you’re constantly on your feet.

The Air Jordan 5 is made from nubuck leather; to keep them clean, I spray them with a sneaker protector before wearing them outside. After wearing them, I remove any dirt using a nubuck brush and return them to their original box, mainly so they don’t get dusty.
