The Nike umbrella as a whole has long been inspired by Japanese culture and craft. Jordan Brand is certainly no exception, as evidenced by the sashiko-covered Air Jordan 1 Low “World Make Japan.” And though hot on the heels of the release of said colorway, the Jumpman is already putting these techniques into practice yet again. A more understated interpretation of its above-mentioned counterpart, this newly-revealed Air Jordan 1 Low relegates its sashiko-inspired detailing to select parts of the shoe.

The shoe’s construction revolves around a full leather framework, accentuated with sashiko-inspired stitching gracing the Jumpman tongue logos, Swoosh symbols, and the iconic Wings motif adorning the heels and collars. The design predominantly features a White base, overlaid with sleek Black accents, Blue Swooshes, an inner lining in the same cool Blue shade, and a resilient rubber outsole. Muslin laces are thoughtfully added to evoke a nostalgic vintage charm. For that extra pop of contrast, you’ll find vibrant Siren Red elements highlighting the tongue trim, insoles, and stitching against the pristine White midsole.

Why are Air Jordan 1 so good?

  1. The biggest reason why the Air Jordan sneakers are popular and why people continue to buy them is because they offer high-quality performance products. As high-quality shoes, they provide great comfort and support, unlike other products in the market.
  2. The Air Jordan is famous because it is not like the regular signature shoes. These sneakers represent a type of belief and pursuit and not just Jordan’s brilliant career.
