The Air Jordan 5 Low Chinese New Year is a special iteration of the model equipped with plenty of distinct features.
This low-top Air Jordan 5 features a Sail tear-away canvas upper that reveals a colorful pattern print underneath and considered design details that commemorate Chinese New Year punctuate its design.
Aside from the tear-away upper, other unique details include the banner logos on the heel and behind the tongues, the word “ACTION” displayed on the medial netting along with added text that can also be seen.
Adjacent, the eye stays, lace toggle, tongue, lining, and midsole trim are embellished with auspicious red accents, matching part of the patch insignia stitched onto the counter.

The Air Jordan 5 is made from nubuck leather; to keep them clean, I spray them with a sneaker protector before wearing them outside. After wearing them, I remove any dirt using a nubuck brush and return them to their original box, mainly so they don’t get dusty.
